Lorraine started dancing at the age of four and over the years completed her medal system in all three dance societies (ISTD, NATD and IDTA). Over her junior and early adult years she also competed in many competitions and team matches nationwide. At the age of 25 she followed in her Mother’s footsteps by qualifying as a Ballroom and Latin teacher and has been teaching ever since. Having qualified firstly with the NATD (National Association of Teachers of Dancing) and then shortly after with the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing), Lorraine has instructed for various Dance Schools in both London and Essex, teaching all manner of ages, abilities and dance styles.
As well as the Ballroom and Latin, Lorraine is now a Qualified Dance Fitness Instructor, running SOSA dance fitness classes (Ballroom & Latin based exercise programme).
Although not quite Shirley Ballas, Lorraine judges at various dance competitions throughout Essex, as well as helping to organise dance festivals in the south of England.
